Strange Humans
I find it strange to be human sometimes.
There’s so much noise. Emotions, responsibilities, drama.
Every decision, every step, seems to come with an unspoken rule: Consider how others might feel.
It’s like we’re constantly reshaping ourselves to fit the spaces others leave for us.
Is that really how we’re meant to live? Forever limited by someone else’s emotions?
We’re caged.
Sometimes by the people we love.
Sometimes by money.
And sometimes, by our own fears.
Afraid of hurting those we care about, we set ourselves aside.
Afraid of what might happen, we hold back.
We stay still. Not because we want to, but because the world, or our own minds, whisper don’t.
And so, we live carefully.
Quietly.
Trapped behind invisible walls we barely notice…
until the moment we try to break through.
x, myle.
